Half up, half down cornrows and curls

Hi everyone so this is from when I had conformation this year but I was to busy to post it. But today I am going to teach you how to recreate this hairstyle hope you enjoy.

Skills needed…

~ have to be able to do a cornrow, or a Dutch braid.
~ dividing
~ have to be able to do a pony tail
~ have to be able to do this type of curling method

Level of hairstyle…

-this hairstyle is fairly easy

Materials needed…

~ dividing comb
~ straws
~ plastic hair elastics
~ 3 corkscrew hair jewels (optional)

Steps…

1. First have your hair damp, then divided 1 inch by 1 inch (2.5 cm).
2. Then place the straw 1 inch (2.5 cm) from the tips of your hair and roll the straw up from your hair if that makes sense, after you rolled the straw up your hair to about your scalp bend the straw in half and then use a hair elastic to make sure the straws stay.

3. Then sleep with that on your head for the night
4.the next morning when you wake up you can take the straws out of your hair now; by first taking the elastics out and then unraveling the curls.

5. Then with your dividing comb divide ear to ear, tie the bottom secretion off.
6. Diagonally from in front of your ear divide about a 1 inch section(2.5) and then simply cornrows that section. After you are done grading that section you can tie it off with an elastic.
7. Now with the top section carefully comb the hair into a simple pony tail and tie it off.

8. (OPTIONAL) if you want, with 3 corkscrew hair Jewels you can randomly place them on the top section.

I hope you really enjoy this hairstyle if you want a YouTube video just comment saying so.
Here are some pictures from when I got conformed. Bellow.

The "S" braid

Hi so I have not posted in a while because I have just been busy with homework, and having to deal with the pain with my foot.
But anyways lets get to this hairstyle I hope you like it.

  Skills needed...

- Dutch braid or a French I prefer a Dutch braid for this hairstyle thought. If you want a depth picture tutorial or a video tutorial either comment down bellow, share this image, or email me at cornrowsjustforme@gmail.com
-dividing
-and a simple low or high pony tail.

Level of hairstyle…

-preaty easy, all you pretty much need to be able to do is a Dutch braid.

Materials needed…

-dividing com or a rat tail comb something to divide the sections of hair with.
-hair cream, or something to keep flyaway so down you could use water too but you do not need to apply anything.

Step

1) section off a rectangular section of hair. I like to go from mid eyebrow to mid eyebrow and then go from just pass the crown of your head.

2) tie the rest of your hair out of the way into a ponytail.

3) divide the rectangular section into 3 equal sections tie each of them off with a ponytail except the section closest to your forehead.

4) with the section of hair that you left out comb it to the left side; and start a normal (Dutch or French braid I did a Dutch)  to the left and braid the braid all the way down and tie the braid off with an elastic.

5) now untie the middle section and braid the middle section the opposite way that the first section was branded on. So now instead of combing the hair to the left again this time we are going to comb the hair to the right. Then braid the Dutch braid all the way to the end of your hair and tie the braid off with a hair elastic.

6)  then untie the very last section of hair, once again this time we are NOT going to do the Dutch braid to the right side of your head. Now we are going to comb the last section to the left and continue braiding the braid all the way down and tie it off with an elastic.

7) then let the rest  of your hair louse that you tied away in the beginning now you can either leave your hair down with the braids hanging or you can place th r raids in a ponytail like I did.
I really like how when I placed the braids in my pony tail how it made an "S" like shape.

I also got many complements on this style that I wore to school.
