Hi everyone. I wanted to teach you guys this cool hairstyle, because whenever I wear it I always get asked how to do it so I thought I would share it with you.

Things needed to do this hairstyle

•dividing comb
•one small hair elastic, and a normal elastic
•a few bobby pins to pin the braid in place
•palm maid/hair cream or water (optional)

Steps to do the hairstyle

1)  the first step of this tutorial is to divided a section of hair from ear to ear.

2)  then tie the bottom section out of the way with a normal hair elastic.
3)  decide if you are going to put a hair texturizing cream to tame fly aways, spray your hair to make it damp to prevent fly aways, or to not add any texturizing creams or water. Determinant what one you are going to do and do it.
4)  next choose what side you want the flower to lay on. If you want the flower to lay on your left side then start your Dutch or French braid on the opposite side (right) same with the other side. I layed my flower on the left side.
5)  now start the French or Dutch braid next to your ear. Braid the, braid all the way to your other ear. Continuebraiding   the braid all the way till your ends are starting to pop out. Then tie the small elastic around the ends of the braid. You can also fold the ends up and then tie the  elastic on it then. That is just a tip to make it easier.
6)  after that step, start turning the braid CCW (counter clock wise/ opposite way that the hands on the clock go) starting at the ends and working your way up to your scalp.
7)  then place bobby pins around your new flower to hold it in place so it stays for the whole day. I would also reccemend putting a bobby pin in the middel of the flower to keep your ends not sticking up.

That is all to do this simple hairstyle. You can post a picture on Instagram and use the hashtag #cornrowsjustformedutchFrenchbraidflower
